What can you do about increasing heating costs?

To save at the heating does not seem so attractive at first: nobody wants to leave their warm houses in the cold winter months. But everybody can with a few simple means save at the heating energy, save money and still be warm: a large part of the heat in our houses goes out through roof, walls, windows and basement.

But such a waste of heat can be stopped by the use of different changes and modernisations of the home and you can save much money and much of the carbon dioxide which is harmful to the environment.

An average home uses about 70% of it's energy for heating. Heating of homes is responsible for about 25% of the damaging CO2 release into the environment.
